펜타곤은 큐브 엔터테인먼트 소속의 9인조 보이 그룹이다. 진호, 후이, 홍석, 신원, 여원, 옌안, 유토, 키노, 우석으로 구성된 펜타곤은 K-POP에서 중요한 다섯 가지 덕목 (보컬/랩, 댄스, 팀워크, 마인드, 끼)를 모두 충족하고 있다는 뜻을 가지고 K-POP 팬들에게 그 입지를 넓혀가고 있다.
2016년 10월 첫 미니 앨범 [PENTAGON]으로 데뷔, 이후 [DEMO_O1], [DEMO_02], [Positive], [WE:TH], [IN:VITE U] 등의 앨범으로 차별화된 그룹만의 매력과 다양한 음악적 변화를 시도하였으며, 매 앨범마다 자작곡을 다수 수록하며 다재다능한 면모를 선보이고 있다.
또한 2018년 발매한 미니 6집 [Positive]의 타이틀곡 ‘빛나리’는 역주행의 신화를 새로 씀과 동시에 뮤직비디오 2억뷰를 달성, 현재까지도 많은 K-POP 팬들에게 사랑받는 곡으로 손꼽힌다.

PENTAGON is a 9-member boy group under CUBE Entertainment. With the nine members, JINHO, HUI, HONGSEOK, SHINWON, YEOONE, YANAN, YUTO, KINO, and WOOSEOK, “PENTAGON” means the group fulfills all of the five important factors of K-pop (vocal/rap, dance, teamwork, attitude, talent), and with that, they are consistently establishing themselves amongst the K-pop fans. They debuted in October 2016 with their first mini album [PENTAGON], and with later releases such as [DEMO_O1], [DEMO_02], [Positive], [WE:TH], [IN:VITE U], and more, they challenged themselves to present unrivaled charms and versatile musical transformations, releasing many self-produced songs on their albums and showcasing their multitalented abilities. Furthermore, ‘Shine’, the title track of their 6th Mini Album [Positive] released in 2018, made a new history of the “reverse-chart syndrome” and also reached 200 million views with their music video. It is still widely loved by many K-pop fans.
